What is RAM and ROM
RAM
RAM stands for Random Access Memory. RAM holds the data only temporarily.

The information can be read and write on it.
 RAM is a volatile memory the data disappears lost when the computer power off.
It is also known as read/write memory. 
ROM
ROM stands for Read Only Memory. ROM is used to store data and information permanently.

Program is stored on ROM chips when the computer is manufactured.
 You can only read the information from ROM.
Any new information cannot be written in to it.
 ROM is non-Volatile memory the data that is stored in ROM cannot be lost even when the computer is turned power off.
